AHR Programs
They served us, now it is time to
serve them
veterans
restoration and transition
When many think of transitional housing
assistance, the picture that comes to mind for
many is of a mass shelter arrangement, deep in
the inner city, that is impersonal, stale, and
institutional in nature.
Now turn that thought around and what is the
opposite? A rural, nature centered, fresh-air
place of solace, conducive to personal
development, spiritual enrichment, and physical
and mental healing.
Above and beyond all other aspects of each AHR
program, maintaining this warm, personal,
nostalgic, health-building environment is
central and the key to success.

Veteran Transitional
Living
breaking the cycle
War is hell. And for hundreds of years, the hell
of war has returned to the homes and families of
the warriors who serve with honor. Whether the
after effects and affects of war on a hero are
internal or external, the result for many is not
only temporary home displacement, but chronic
homelessness.
For a majority of these men and women who served
our country when asked and protected the
freedoms we treasure, a robust transitional
opportunity is all it takes to move them from
the the transient, disconnected life of having
no home, work, or close family, to one of pride
in employment, the daily security of a safe
living environment, and an opportunity to
connect fully with their community.
The AHR mission is to provide a transitional
living experience that makes a meaningful
impact on the life of a homeless hero. Through
safety in living, active personal development
workshops, and community integration
experiences, our program seeks to be that
stepping stone for veterans towards a life of
hope and prosperity.
This is our Veterans Transitional Living
Program.
