Programs
All services to
veterans, active duty, or organizations
supporting veterans are always free of charge.
Camp Hero
Camp Hero is
a planned veterans transitional living
environment designed specifically to support the
short term transitional housing needs of all veterans,
with a farm designed to give additional support
to those who are engaged in
PTSD recovery.
The goal is
to create the first living environment farm to
serve as a model for other organizations to
follow.
Camp Hero will
be a place
where returning heroes can call home for
3-12 months during their transition back to civilian life. We
continue to seek out farm opportunities to establish and open
this facility.
General Housing
There
are more than 55,000 homeless veterans in the United States
today. General housing is a critical need. We are finding that
with about $5,000, we can enter into an arrangement with an
owner of a house, apartment, or other dwelling that opens 3-6
beds for single men or women or space for 1-3 couples or single
vets with kids. Sure, its not easy. But nothing could be more
worth the effort than to get a homeless veteran or family off
the street and on to hopeful living.
Your Ideas Count
Our goal is not to be known as the
most creative in working through the homeless veteran crisis,
but we are striving to be effective. Your ideas count more than
you would ever know. If you have an idea to submit to us that
will get some vets off the streets, we want to hear it. If you
have a property that you'd like to explore using for our
veterans, give us a call at (888) 716-4196 and let's talk.
