AND THE REST...

  Nashville is Taking Notice
Conversations with several Nashville, TN recoding producers, writers, and artists is gaining momentum. Our request was for someone to write a song that described in music the AHR mission. To that end, a music row producer is now taking that as a task and speaking with nationally known artists. We'll keep you posted.

  West Virginia Farm Grows 42%
For many of our readers, this may be the first time they learn of the 19 mountain view acres donated to AHR this past March. This Smithville, WV location where we plan a facility to serve 50 men and 25 women at any one time, has this week just grown by 42% or 8 acres...read more here.

  Potential Virginia Site
AHR is wasting no time in sighting out additional locations to establish veteran transitional housing and respite experiences. We have our eye on a 58 acre rural property on the AP trail that includes a ten unit sleeping lodge, professional dining facility, two homes, and a 2,000 square foot gymnasium with 700 square feet of classroom space.  The site at its current build out would accommodate 30 transitioning veterans at any one time, with additional build out it could exceed 125.  The property has been offered to us at $375K - a steal. Is there a group of donors out that that want to make this happen for our veterans? Contact the Director at (888) 716-4196 and discuss options - and there are many.

  Hickory Smoked Picnic
American Heroes Return is hosting a Veterans Appreciation and Awareness picnic on the new site ground in Conover, NC (just outside Hickory) within the next month. Details will be in your email box soon. Please plan to attend and bring along a couple cans of food or throw a few bucks in the can for the women and men we seek to serve.

The vets need you, now more than ever, please make your gift here.
